Firstly, we are aware of all the scams relating to transactions of Bonny Light Crude Oil, so this purchase procedure has been constructed to eliminate all the worries relating to the stigma of trading in Bonny Light.
The quantity is 1,700,000 barrels for immediate delivery, on a tanker. With a monthly allocation it could be rolled over into a 12 month running contract 2 million barrels per month.
The price is World Platts Average over the a three day period at time of contract.
Payment is NOT required until delivery is made and inspection taken place, thus making this a completely safe transaction with the buyer in mind. The buyer will need to place a BCL or acceptable banking instrument up front.
